Scholarships
There are two scholarship opportunities available for Destination Imagination Senior participants. The first is the DISC Scholarship. This is a National DI Scholarship. To be eligible, Scholarship Applicants:
For the DISC Scholarship search, it is the applicant's CREATIVITY and involvement that are deemed most important. We want to see you use your creativity and divergent thinking! The most weight in our scoring is applied to the creativity and usefulness of the solution to our challenges, and the past and continued involvement of the applicant
The two Creative Scholarship tracks you may choose from are "Marketing" and "Tool". Applicants can also apply for the Founders Award, established in recognition and appreciation of VOMBO, the first booster organization for DI, and its founding members.
- should be graduating from high school or currently pursuing a post High School degree in a Trade School, Community College or University. They must be accepted at a college/university or other post-secondary educational institution and planning to attend in the school year 2014-2015. Proof of acceptance will be required before award can be disbursed.
- must have participated in at least one of the creative problem solving programs that Destination Imagination has sponsored, as a team member and/or in a volunteer capacity.
- should be actively continuing his or her involvement in Destination Imagination in some capacity, either as a team member or as a volunteer.

The second is the Colorado Destination Imagination Continuing Education Scholarship. This scholarship is open to ALL graduating seniors who have participated in the Destination Imagination program. Participation can be as a team member or as a volunteer. This scholarship has been created to show our continued support of Colorado Destination Imagination participants as they further their education in any area. This includes but is not limited to college, military service and trade schools. Application: Tips for Success
- Show us how Destination Imagination has enriched your life and made you a better citizen of your world.
- Choose the people you ask for recommendations wisely! They should be able to share with us how Destination Imagination has made you a better member of your community or how you have had a positive impact on your teammates, friends, etc.
- Show us your creativity!
- Do not provide a synopsis of every award or trip to State or Global Finals
- This scholarship is NOT based on academic achievement – we don’t know your grades or test scores!
- Your IDODI should not be a “re-hash” of a challenge solution or a video of your performance, etc.
- Make sure your application is complete and all items are received by the deadline
