All team managers must complete a background check. As a part of the Denver tournament, you can do this for free through Denver Public Schools through YOUR home school. If you are managing a team OUTSIDE of a DPS school, please contact your school office manager and let them know you would like to be a volunteer for their school and would like to start the background-check process.
If you are managing a team AT a DPS school, you can fill out the following form and send it and a copy of your ID to DPS Volunteer Services. (Instructions are directly on the form.)
The DPS Background checks are good for 3 years.
Please write "Destination Imagination" as your affiliate organization.

Volunteer Code of Conduct
ALL volunteers, including Team Managers and Tournament Officials, are required to accept the Destination Imagination Volunteer Code of Conduct and Insurance Waiver and be assigned an ID number. Volunteers need only be assigned a number once since those numbers are valid year after year.
The best way is to complete the form is the online Destination Imagination Volunteer Code of Conduct link. You must have/create a DI account in order to be able to log in. When you log in, you will see a screen that explains the process and provides links to accepting or declining the Code of Conduct and the Insurance Waiver.
Once you complete the process, you will be able to follow a link to print your volunteer card. Your online registration will be good from year to year.
